Tonya Hall

Vice President, Development

Tonya has over 18 years of experience as a fundraiser, board member, and philanthropist. She has provided fundraising training for boards and development professionals, coaching on capital campaigns, planned giving programs, and strategic planning.

Before joining WBGO, Tonya served as Senior Advancement Officer for the Kean University Foundation, helping to raise $10 million for higher education in three years. She previously served as Senior Advancement Officer at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital Foundation.

Tonya prides herself on always having worked with organizations whose missions are in keeping with her passion and interests and finds the fullest satisfaction in helping others find significance in supporting the causes she champions.

Tonya was the former State Chair of the NJ Association of Fundraising Professionals (NJ-AFP) Youth in Philanthropy Program. She has held numerous board, committee, and advisory positions.

Tonya holds a B.S. from the University of Delaware and an M.A. in Holocaust and Genocide Studies from Kean University where she serves as an Adjunct Professor. She has been a certified fundraising executive since December 2012.
