Dianna is a champion for the arts, and a community builder. Since starting WBGO in October 2015, she helps to promote and celebrate jazz by providing logistical support for fundraising events such as the Champions of Jazz Gala, and managing various projects such as travel excursions to Newport Jazz Festival and Jazz on the Mountain at Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, New York. She also helps communicate the various possibilities for audiences to engage with the station by helping develop media content for events, communicate with members about upcoming events via telephone or email, and assist with other miscellaneous tasks that come up daily. Before working for WBGO, she interned at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, where she worked on the development on the Frank Sinatra exhibit. After working on this exhibit, she grew to love the culture of jazz and loves coming into work at WBGO every day!
Dianna has a BA from Rutgers University in Communications and Art History, with a minor in French and Women and Gender Studies. She believes that the arts help bring people together, and is proud to be a member of the WBGO team.
